What grades attend HUA?

We serve students grades 6-12 and we do offer dual enrollment opportunities for those ready for college coursework.

What is your tuition?

Currently, our tuition is $9,300 and our classes meet 5 days a week.

Who Benefits Most from HUA? 

Twice Exceptional, Learners with ADD/ADHD, Executive Functioning Deficiencies, Auditory/Visual Processing Issues, or Dyslexia (comprehension only)

Do you have a religious affiliation?

We are Christian (non-denominational). Christ-centered instruction in an encouraging environment with a Biblical worldview undergirds individualized instruction to accommodate all learning styles.

What is your student/teacher ratio?

On average, we have a 4:1 ratio. 75% of our faculty hold a masters degree or higher, and all teachers are instructed in Orton-Gilligham methodology.

Do you offer extracurricular activities?

Absolutely, we offer Anchor Service Club, Student Government Association, Yearbook, an annual Mission Trip & Community Service opportunities.

What sets us apart from other schools?

Hope United Academy exists specifically for bright students who learn differently. Students who are twice exceptional, have ADD/ADHD, executive functioning deficits, auditory/visual processing issues, or dyslexia benefit from our multisensory, individualized approach.

Students are trained to replace defeating thoughts so new neuropathways can be built.

Research-based practices are utilized for daily organization, structure, and routine.

We use multisensory learning modalities, movement, and BrainGym activities daily.

We have an abbreviated school day 5 days a week.

There is daily accountability so no child “falls between the cracks.”

Teachers are available nightly for homework help.

Parents receive a weekly progress report so that there are no end of semester surprises.
