A Christian microschool for bright students grade 6-12 who learn differently.

Because not ALL great minds think alike!

Hope United Academy is a school for students who are twice exceptional, have been diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, auditory/visual processing or executive functioning deficits.

We do not serve those whose primary educational needs include behavioral challenges, intellectual disabilities, or significant emotional disturbances.

We often compare our students to rubber bands.

We don’t want to stretch students so hard that they break, but we also don’t want to put them in a drawer and never let them fully experience their full potential and the growth that comes from being stretched and challenged.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11

Students who are twice exceptional, have dyslexia, ADHD, auditory/visual processing or executive functioning deficits require visual, auditory and kinesthetic components to excel. Our teachers implement each component in every lesson.

At HUA we work with students daily for organizational, academic and life success. This is especially beneficial for those with executive functioning deficits.

Students who need more of a challenge can enroll in project-based honors classes. Dual enrollment options begin in grade 10.

We offer activities such as Student Government Association, Yearbook Club, and Service Club. These bolster confidence and build college/career resume. Our annual mission trip challenges students to see the world through Christ’s eyes.

Our faculty is united around a common goal.

We are teammates equipping students to know who they are in Christ and giving them the tools they need to succeed academically, socially, and spiritually- to have both a hope and a future.
